Accreditation has been successfully confirmed for the BFE Junior Construction Crafts programme. Approved by EAL, a national awarding organisation, this programme offers young people from age 8+ the opportunity to work towards an accredited vocational skills programme. This qualification includes units in health and safety, plastering, brickwork and carpentry and it reflects an exciting step forward in our work to support alternative, vocational curriculum delivery within schools. We are pleased to be working alongside a national awarding organisation of this calibre who have supported us in setting up the programme and shared our vision and enthusiasm for nurturing the development of young people from an early age.
The first registrations will take place by the end of February and during the course, young people will build a portfolio of evidence to confirm their achievement of the learning aims.
