BFE staff settle into their new ‘temporary’ office location

Following the flooding at our riverside site at Walker back at the start of December 2013 and the subsequent clear-up operation, we are happy to inform you that our staff are now settled into their new temporary office location.

Our main building next to the river will remain closed until Spring whilst it is refurbished however, the office and team are fully up and running and are now based in the workshop building, just behind the main office building, in what was previously the IT Suite.

Telephone and e-mail contact is restored so you can contact usĀ either on 0191 263 2752, via the ‘Contact Us’ page on this website or via email at admin@buildingfutureseast.org.

On behalf of everyone at Building Futures East, we would like to say a massive thank you to all of our colleagues, partners, learners, funding & awarding bodies among many others who have sent us their well wishes, offered support to our staff and been a truly amazing help during this challenging period. In particular, we would like to mention St Anthony of Padua Community Association, Sir Charles Parsons School & Tynemet College who provided us with temporary desk space, classrooms and computer facilities for our staff to keep as close as possible to ‘business-as-usual’ during these initial stages after the flood. Your hospitality was outstanding and we are ever grateful for your support throughout this period.

We would like to extend sincere thanks to all of our stakeholders for their understanding and patience at this time.

We will keep you updated on the refurbishment of our main office so please keep an eye on our website or on twitter @bfenewcastle for any updates.

From the whole team here at Building Futures East, we thank you for your continuous support.
