We are pleased to announce that Building Futures East have been short listed for an award in the forthcoming VONNE Awards 2011. In recognition of our unique project with local schools to create an externally quality assured ‘Junior Construction Crafts’ programme for ages 8 up-over, we have been nominated and short listed in the category of Most Exciting Project. We are especially proud of the outcomes this project is already evidencing; raising skills, aspirations, attendance and confidence in young people.
The awards event will take place at the Radisson Hotel Durham, on 26th May and we look forward to celebrating the success of the many, varied voluntary sector projects who will be short listed for awards on the evening.
