Anthony shows his skills to local company

An outstanding student from Building Futures East has gained a placement with a local company, Brims Construction. Brims were looking for a keen trainee who had experience and training in general construction and they approached Building Futures East to help them recruit.

Walker lad, Anthony Farulla-Jimenez who is 24, had previously worked for a window company and wanted to expand his skills in Construction, particularly in Plastering. At Building Futures East he undertook a 6 month part-time City & Guilds Construction course which not only equipped him with the skills in plastering that he was looking for, but also in tiling, painting & decorating, bricklaying and joinery.

Anthony excelled at his course, with an excellent attendance record, Anthony gave 100% at all times and proved himself a great team worker who is highly motivated to achieve. Viv Lee, Training Co-ordinator at Building Futures East said “We had no hesitation in recommending Anthony for this opportunity and wish him well in his placement”.
